By the time the eccentric “dead salmon” experiment began spurring a lot of doubt, a few social neuroscientists had already started probing into the reliability of the interpretations of modern day Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Subsequent investigations revealed obscure pitfalls that blew up neural correlations to behavior.
